Getting to the ceremony

Mary-Anne Lowe from The Riverstone Estate shares her advice on getting to the Ceremony.

Gone are the days where brides are arriving to their big day in a classic hire car, with many becoming more radical with this element of their wedding day.

Wedding transport is emerging as the latest way to put your own flavour and personal touch on your wedding arrival and departure, with brides and grooms showing up in anything from pink hummers, helicopters, novelty cars, segways, and so on, in order to both surprise and impress all those watching.

The wedding transport has long been a keen interest of grooms everywhere, so the presence of both retro and modern hot rods and muscle cars is also prominent at many weddings. The transport often ties in with the overall theme or colour scheme of each wedding, for example with rustic, country weddings electing transport such as horse-drawn carts, old pick-up trucks or even hot air balloons to both wow their guests and to help create amazing photos of their day.

Brides and grooms have a plethora of choices that will undoubtedly make for great photographs and lasting memories.  Just watch that bridal train on that Segway!
